Senior Epic Application Analyst

Job Description

The Senior Epic Application Analyst is responsible for designing, configuring, testing, implementing, and supporting assigned Epic applications. This role works closely with Epic representatives, IT leadership, clinical and business stakeholders, and subject matter experts to gather requirements, develop effective workflows, configure Epic solutions, and support the complete application lifecycle.

The Senior Epic Application Analyst will lead workgroups and project teams, manage complex application initiatives, troubleshoot issues, support upgrades, develop and maintain documentation, and provide guidance and mentorship to other analysts.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, equivalent, or GED - Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Healthcare, or a related field - Preferred
  • 4+ years of experience designing, configuring, testing, and maintaining Epic applications - Required
  • 2+ years of experience working in a healthcare IT environment - Preferred
  • Epic Application Certification - Required
  • Professional Billing (PB) Claims and Remittance Certification - Required
  • PB Claims Analyst Certification - Required
  • Strong understanding of Epic application workflows, configuration, testing, and support.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical, clinical, and business teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide other team members.
