Fab 62 is an advanced semiconductor fabrication facility for Intel Corporation, located at Intel's Ocotillo campus in Chandler, Arizona. As part of this work, the M&T team is responsible for delivering the engineering, procurement, and construction scope required to complete and finish-outa leading-edge chipmaking facility - a highly demanding environment where precision, cleanliness, schedule certainty, and coordination across thousands of craft and professional personnel are essential to success. The project supports the continued expansion of domestic semiconductor manufacturing capacity, contributing to a more resilient technology supply chain while creating significant opportunity for the local Arizona workforce. Joining the Fab 62 team means contributing directly to one of the most strategically important construction efforts in the United States and helping deliver the infrastructure behind the next generation of microelectronics."
This role serves as a senior technical contributor and discipline lead for Fire and Life Safety Systems on large, complex, and missioncritical projects, including hyperscale data centers, life sciences, and semiconductor manufacturing facilities. The position is explicitly focused on integrated life safety and emergency communication systems-such as networked fire alarm and signaling, emergency voice/alarm communication systems (EVACS/ECS), airsampling smoke detection (e.g., VESDA), inbuilding public safety communications (IBPSC/ERRC), and toxic gas monitoring. Fire suppression or fire water system design expertise is not required but encouraged.
In this role, you will define scope, technical requirements, and cost estimates; lead and approve system architecture, design development, and integration; and resolve complex technical and code issues through sound engineering judgment. You will ensure reliable system performance, survivability, and coordination with electrical, mechanical, architectural, security, ICT, and building automation systems in highly resilient facilities. This position regularly interfaces with clients and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), providing authoritative technical guidance, and mentors life safety engineering personnel in support of consistent, highquality delivery.
